Orlando

Westlake TEC took a trip to Orlando Florida in early 2023! Over the course of their four-day trip, they got to explore six of Orlando’s biggest parks, such as Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Universal’s Island of Adventure, Universal’s Studios Orlando, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Epcot Theme Park, and Disney’s Magic Kingdom. They got to explore the parks for most of the day while riding the rollercoasters and attending the shows. They also got the opportunity to visit the John F. Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral.

While at Disney Springs, TEC got an exclusive tour of the behind-the-scenes workings and operations of Disney and Cirque Du Soleil’s Drawn to Life Show. They were shown the state-of-the-art technology and the backstage of a Broadway quality show. They also received a tour and open floor from each of the position heads of the show.

Another highlight of the trip was visiting the John F. Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral. TEC got to see many parts of the historic Apollo Program which has been credited with many American space launch missions. They also got to see the retired Atlantis Space Shuttle, responsible for over 30 missions and many achievements.
